Lord Intruder

Lord Intruder (born Winston O'Conner) was a calypsonian from Tobago who was active in the 1950s.Music historian and broadcasting Ray Funk, in the "Musical Traditions" web journal [1]

He is known to have performed with the calypso tent group The Original Young Brigade (OYB), whose ranks included The Mighty Sparrow, Lord Melody and The Mighty Bomber.Regis, Louis; The Political Calypso: True Opposition in Trinidad and Tobago, 1962-1987, University Press of Florida, 1998;

He is credited with originating one of the most famous calypso standards, "Jumbie Jamberee", variously recorded as "Zombie Jamboree" and "Back to Back."
